Freije Engineered Solutions Company’s Thermal Envelope Division is available to provide the experience and quality components required to construct your low temperature or vapor barrier projects. We can furnish, install and service all materials related to your cooler, freezer or dry storage construction needs. This includes insulated metal panels, fire-rated panels, under floor insulation, heat trace systems and doors; including manual and power operated cold storage doors, high speed rollups, impact traffic, strip doors and air curtains. Our available vendor manufacturers include MetlSpan, Alumashield, Dow, Jamison Door, Enviro, Rite Hite, Randall Mfg., Custom Quality Products and many others.
The Thermal Envelope division is headed by Gordon Cummings. Gordon has over twenty-five (25) years of experience in construction and management, with an emphasis on cold storage construction. Our field superintendent, Robert Jukes, has nearly thirty (30) years of direct cold storage construction experience. These men along with our crew of seasoned workers can construct everything from a small cam-lock walk-in cooler to a regional distribution center.
In today’s construction environment, job safety is always a major concern. Freije has a full time Safety Director, who’s established safety training program exceeds OSHA’s standard requirement guidelines. Furthermore, our thermal division personnel are specially trained and experienced in the strenuous safety procedures and regulations required for food, pharmaceutical and life science applications. As a result, Freije enjoys an insurance Experience Modification Rate that is well below the industry average.
The Thermal Envelope division is available for projects anywhere within the continental United States and Puerto Rico. We can provide for your thermal envelope requirements separately or can combine with other divisions of Freije Engineered Solutions, such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration (ammonia, Freon and CO2), refrigeration engineering and controls for your design-build or plan-spec projects.
